What Does it mean to have a Protective Hair Style?
Having your hair in a protective style means to have your ends tucked away. As your hair grows your ends become the oldest and weakest part of your hair. Hence the term Protective Hair Style.
When you are constantly washing, styling and detangling (manipulating) your hair it causes breakage.
Yes, my hair is natural but you do not have to have natural hair to have a protective hair style.

Having a Protective Hairstyle not only protects your hair, but also gives you hairdiversity (yes, I made that up).😜
There are what I like to call many different vibes of protective hairstyles:
A Sew-in(weave)/hair extensions can be considered a protective hairstyle if done with a closure or frontal.
